On the morning of Tuesday, November 5, a tragic traffic accident occurred on Simirenko Street in Dnipro, located in the Amur-Nyzhnodniprovsk district, which claimed the life of a child. This was reported by "Vydamo" referencing the Telegram channel "Dnipro Operational War" and "Informant Dnipro".

The accident took place opposite Gymnasium No. 68.

Preliminary data indicates that two 8-year-old children were crossing the road at an unregulated pedestrian crossing.

A 23-year-old driver, operating a Ford Sierra, struck them. As a result, one child died at the scene, while the other was hospitalized.

Currently, investigative actions are ongoing at the scene. The driver has been preliminarily detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation.
