Prosecutors from the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office have submitted indictments to the court against six agents who provided Russian special services with information about the locations of critical infrastructure and the military-industrial complex across several regions. This was reported by "Vідомо," referencing the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.
The investigation revealed that the accused were remotely recruited by administrators of pro-Russian Telegram channels and were part of an intelligence network operated by the Federal Security Service of Russia. They supplied Russian special services with intelligence data as per their assignments.
Their primary responsibilities included transmitting information about the locations of electrical substations and defense industry enterprises. Additionally, the accused gathered information on the results of enemy missile strikes, the deployment of military units and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the locations of air defense systems.
The information provided was utilized by the armed forces of the Russian Federation to conduct targeted missile strikes and drone attacks.
The perpetrators are charged with treason in conditions of martial law (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Currently, the accused are in custody without bail being set.
