In Dnipro, a 35-year-old man committed a series of thefts over three days in various stores located in the Industrial District of the city. This information was reported by "Vidomo," citing the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
The suspect's criminal activities began at the end of last year, with three thefts attributed to him. He operated using a specific method: selecting items and then leaving the store without paying, bypassing the checkout area. However, after his latest crime, the man's "luck" ran out when he was caught by a store security guard and handed over to the police.
Investigators have informed the suspect of his charges concerning a criminal offense under part 4 of Article 185 (theft) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty for this crime could be up to 8 years in prison. The investigation is ongoing.
