In Dnipro, at the Samarivka station, an elderly man was fatally struck by a train. This was reported by "Vідомо" citing the Telegram channel "Dnipro Operational".

The tragic incident occurred on the morning of Friday, December 6.

It is noted that the train driver attempted to stop the train using emergency braking, but was unable to prevent the tragedy.

Law enforcement officials were present at the scene. An investigation into the circumstances of the incident is ongoing.
