In Kamensk, a man fatally attacked an elderly woman who had welcomed him into her home to stay.

In Kamensky, police apprehended a 38-year-old suspect accused of fatally beating a 72-year-old woman. This was reported by "Vydomo," citing the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region.

The information about the crime was received by the police on January 14. The deceased's body was discovered by a neighbor who came to check on her.

It was revealed that the elderly woman had allowed the man to stay in her apartment. On January 9, a quarrel broke out between the man and the elderly woman, during which the suspect severely assaulted the victim.

The police of the Kamensky District Police Department established the circumstances of the crime and identified the suspect.

The suspect has been informed of the charges against him for committing a criminal offense under part 2 of Article 121 (intentional serious bodily harm). He faces up to 10 years in prison. The issue of choosing a measure of restraint for him is being resolved.
