In Kryvyi Rih, a man nearly beat his acquaintance to death.

Kryvyi Rih police apprehended a man on suspicion of inflicting serious bodily harm on an acquaintance. This information was reported by "Vydomo" citing the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

The crime occurred on January 26 at around 6:30 PM in a residential building within the Saksahanskyi district of the city. Law enforcement officials determined that during a conflict, a 34-year-old assailant delivered numerous blows to the victim using his hands and feet. The 59-year-old victim was hospitalized with severe injuries.

On January 28, investigators informed the suspect of the charges related to a criminal offense under part 1 of Article 121 (intentional serious bodily harm) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and chose a preventive measure of detention.
