Recently, in Kryvyi Rih at the Western Cemetery, an unknown individual shot at the memorial of a fallen defender of Ukraine. This was discovered by his mother, as reported by "Vidomo" referencing "Svoyi".
The woman visited the cemetery nine days after her son's death. She decided to pay her respects to her son – fallen defender Roman Yurchenko. Upon seeing her son's portrait, she noticed marks from bullet impacts.
"The driver (who brought the woman to the cemetery – ed.) got out, took a look, and started to calm me down: 'calm down, sit down, it’s a shot-up portrait, a memorial,'" the mother of the fallen soldier recounted.

The woman has no idea who could have done this. People informed her that a camouflage vehicle had been parked at the cemetery previously, and gunshots had been heard.
A staff member providing funeral services at the cemetery confirmed that the shooting occurred on November 4, but chose not to call the police.
"Around 1:00 PM, we heard gunshots. I went out and saw that a vehicle was parked. But we often have military personnel coming to pay their respects. No one paid attention to the possibility that shots might have been fired at the memorial. I only saw one man in a turquoise sweater. He fired multiple shots," Natalia shared.
The police were called to the cemetery. They found more than 10 shell casings. No damage to neighboring memorials was detected. An investigation is underway to identify those involved in this crime.
