In one of the forested areas of the city of Dnipro, patrol officers apprehended a woman who was found to be in possession of illegal substances. The incident took place in the Novokodak district of the city. This was reported by "Vidomo," citing the patrol police of Dnipropetrovsk region.
The law enforcement officers, who were conducting routine patrols, noticed a woman whose behavior raised suspicions. When the patrol attempted to establish contact with her to determine the reason for her anxious state, she tried to escape deeper into the forest.
However, the police managed to apprehend her. During a preliminary search, a small plastic bag was found on the woman. Inside were several glass tubes, commonly used for consuming illegal substances, as well as a crystalline white substance resembling a narcotic.
The patrol immediately called in the investigative operational group (IOG) to document the scene and collect evidence.
An investigation is currently underway to clarify all the circumstances of the incident, including the source of the illegal substances, the woman’s history of drug use, and potential connections to criminal organizations.
The woman will face charges that will depend on the results of the examination and the evidence collected. She faces criminal liability under Ukrainian law for the illegal possession and possible distribution of narcotic substances.
