In the heart of Dnipro, a man removed all the wheels from a car (PHOTO).

In Dnipro, police tracked down and arrested a suspect who removed all the wheels from a vehicle. This was reported by "Vідомо," citing the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region.

On December 5, a woman contacted the police to report a theft in the Central District. In the evening, the victim parked her car near her home, and in the morning, she found her vehicle on bricks and without wheels.

The thief had removed four wheels from the parked car and hid them in a neighboring yard, but he didn’t have time to take them away.

Following the search, the police apprehended the criminal. He turned out to be a 35-year-old man with a previous conviction for property crimes. The stolen wheels were seized by law enforcement.

On December 6, investigators informed the man that he was suspected of committing a criminal offense under part 4 of Article 185 (theft) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The suspect could face up to 8 years behind bars for the crime committed. The investigation is ongoing.

The police are verifying information regarding the arrested individual's potential involvement in similar crimes within the city.
