In the heart of Dnipro, a 19-year-old "dropper" was apprehended.

The police in Dnipro apprehended a 19-year-old man who was distributing marijuana "drops" on one of the central avenues. This was reported by "Vydomo" referring to the National Police of Dnipropetrovsk Region.

Officers uncovered the drug dealer on November 5 during a routine patrol of the Central District of Dnipro.

During a cursory inspection, the young man was found in possession of approximately 40 prepared packages of marijuana for sale. The investigative team documented the crime and confiscated the narcotic substances for further examination, while the 19-year-old offender was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

Investigators informed the detainee of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 1 of Article 307 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, mailing, or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, or their analogs) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He faces up to 8 years in prison.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
