In Ternovka, a woman had a confrontation with her neighbor near the first entrance of a building on Hryhorii Skovoroda Street. The conflict escalated into physical violence on the part of the woman. This was reported by "Vidomo".
According to the conclusions of the forensic medical examination, she struck her neighbor with two powerful punches to the left side of his face. The victim sustained serious injuries: a closed traumatic brain injury, a concussion, a large hematoma around the left eye (periorbital hematoma), a contused wound on the left upper lip, and damage to two or three teeth in the upper jaw.
It is worth noting that despite the severity of the injuries, the medical examination classified them as "minor bodily harm," which influenced the subsequent legal proceedings.
During the trial, the accused fully admitted her guilt. She explained that during the night argument, she lost control and struck her neighbor.
The court's decision was relatively lenient: the woman was found guilty of committing a misdemeanor as defined in part 2 of Article 125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional infliction of minor bodily harm).
The punishment was a fine of 850 hryvnias.
