In Kryvyi Rih, law enforcement agencies apprehended a neurosurgeon suspected of orchestrating a scheme to illegally exempt men from mobilization in exchange for monetary compensation. According to preliminary information, the doctor assisted military conscripts in evading enlistment for a fee of 5,000 US dollars, leveraging his professional expertise and connections. This was reported by "Vidomo," citing the Dnipropetrovsk regional prosecutor's office.

The scheme was quite cunning and involved several stages to ensure maximum secrecy.

At the initial stage, the doctor contacted potential clients. During the conversation, he thoroughly explained the mechanism of "assistance" and highlighted the high success rate.

After agreeing on the price—5,000 US dollars—the second stage commenced. The doctor proposed creating fake medical documents that would confirm the client had a serious illness preventing them from serving in the military. Using his professional knowledge, he drafted reports about supposedly identified pathologies, forging stamps and signatures, doing everything possible to make the forgery appear as credible as possible.

The third stage involved interaction with the staff of the district territorial center for staffing and social support (TCK and SP).

The apprehension of this unscrupulous specialist was the result of prolonged operational work by law enforcement agencies. The suspect has been placed in custody as a preventive measure. He faces charges that carry severe penalties, including a lengthy prison sentence and substantial fines.
